Paul Jackson | Founder

Paul

Paul Jackson is an entrepreneur, angel investor, and aerospace engineer. His engineering expertise and entrepreneurial spirit are driving forces behind his founding of Integrus Capital, and co-founding its flagship offerings, Worthworm and D-Strut LLC.After a successful career as a dynamics engineer for Orbital Sciences and a commercial space development consultant in Washington D.C., Mr. Jackson founded Dynamic Labs, a recognized leader in environmental testing dedicated to testing and evaluating products in the early stages of development for commercial and military applications. Dynamic Labs served approximately 80% of the high-tech industry in the American Southwest, including defense primes such as Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon and Honeywell.After selling Dynamic Labs to a publicly held company in 2006, Paul has applied his engineering skills to the development of risk-analysis products that contribute to the larger vision of re-purposing under-commercialized intellectual property found at Fortune 100 companies. His interest in finding a scalable solution for knowhow left languishing at his established aerospace customer base has driven the development of new technologies, such as those utilized in Worthworm. Michael S. Melfi is an Internet and Intellectual Property attorney, specializing in Digital Law.  Michael has a dynamic background that allows him to provide insightful legal services, while creating business development strategies.

Over the last decade Michael founded and led a national multi-media company. This provided the opportunity for Michael to provide brand positioning and image consulting to professionals and celebrities. As COO & General Counsel Michael pioneered various experiential and digital marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 clients. As a thought leader and innovator, Michael began utilizing the internet and various social media platforms to develop an online presence for his company in the top 1% of all websites globally. With the advent of mainstream crowdfunding, Michael has taken these experiences and become the first ever “Crowdfunding Attorney,” helping small and medium-size companies achieve their funding goals and business objectives. Using Charity, Reward and Equity-based Crowfunding, Michael has raised considerable funds for client projects in medical research, consumer products and technology. Through these experiences and involvement with the digital platform, Michael gained valuable insight into the legal and business ramifications of the internet and specifically social media.

 

Daniel Williams | Advisor

Dan is a Certified Public Accountant in three states with over 30 years of experience in public accounting. Currently, Dan is President and CEO of Juniper Advisory Services (Juniper’), a firm he started in 2013. Prior to Juniper, Dan was Partner in charge of the Price water house Coopers Business Recovery Services Practice in the Chicago and Mid-West Markets. Prior to joining Price water house Coopers, Dan was the Phoenix Office Managing Partner of all services including audit, tax and strategic consulting at McGladrey, Arizona’s second largest accounting firm. Dan also served as McGladrey’s Regional Consulting Head responsible for implementation of all Sarbanes Oxley engagements. Previously, Dan was Deloitte’s US Managing Partner of Restructuring in New York and was responsible for all US Restructuring engagements. Prior to this, Dan served as the Regional Managing Partner at Arthur Andersen, responsible for the Central and West Region Global Corporate Finance Group where he managed all aspects of restructuring, turnaround, capital formation, forensic accounting and investment banking. Dan is a national speaker and writer on various accounting and restructuring strategies.

Dan is also a nationally recognized restructuring professional who has advised numerous underperforming companies in a variety of industries through the restructuring and recapitalization process. Dan is frequently contacted by secured lenders and creditor constituents to assist their portfolio companies in the development of strategic business, finance and accounting and restructuring alternatives. Dan’s experience includes serving as lead partner on several restructuring, corporate finance, forensic accounting, bankruptcy and turnaround engagements including numerous national matters.

 

Ryan Speir | Advisor

Ryan has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, funding and access to capital expertise for startup and growth-stage companies. Ryan has founded 3 companies, run 5 organizations and held executive roles in 7 start-ups. Ryan has coached entrepreneurs, led advisory groups and performed public speaking engagements for technology and angel investment groups.

Ryan now serves as Director of Business Incubator Program of Monfort Colleage of Business, which aims to help nurture and grow entrepreneurial business ventures in Northern Colorado. Prior to joining the Monfort College of Business, Speir worked in a variety of capacities at Fort Collins-based Rocky Mountain Innosphere from 2006-2012, including serving as chief operating officer and interim CEO. Ryan was also the Director for SAGE advisors. Speir is also an active member of the editorial board of the Northern Colorado Business Report and serves on the Colorado State Office of Economic Development and International Trade Steering and Tactical Committee for Electronics. He is a popular speaker and advisor for angel investment and business advisory groups and technology companies.
